Trips abroad Part 2

We have continued to fund Malc on his travels through the year

including to Dusseldorf with Martin Scot on a Sowing Seeds team.

Malc is finding that connections with younger praying people across the UK are opening up, especially with respect to praying into Europe and hopes to take a team to Stockholm next summer. It is so exciting to see what God is doing with the ‘next’ generation

They pray like we never did at that age. Equally valuably he’s been to N. Ireland, Bognor and Bournemouth among others

The N. Ireland visit began in Rostrevor at the “Convocation of Prayer Rooms” (no we don’t know what ‘convocation’ means either) as part of a group representing Boiler Rooms.

It was a really good time, not least because it was the first time that they’d had such a broad range of ages represented and it felt like Boiler Rooms had come of age.

As a real treat we visited the Benedictine Monastery just up the road. Listening to the Abbot (brother Mark) was just great. Then seeing his face as three young people asked him for suggestions for a prayer book which would give them a pattern of prayer three times a day!

From there Malc travelled to Carrick Fergus to be part of a reconciliation event with representatives of five first nation Americans. Both humbling and wonderful.

Then a day in Belfast during which he visted the "Passionate cafe"

Then a couple of days up in Coleraine, staying with friends. Malc always benefits from going to Ireland even though it is one of the hardest places to visit. Belfast is still such a hurting place and needs so much prayer.

He hopes to take a prayer team out there in the coming year. If you are interested do get in touch.
