Why Malcolm in the Middle?

For those who don't watch T.V. !

yes folks there are some out there, and certainly many saintly souls who are bereft of Sky One and look none the worse for it   . . . . .
however  . . . . .  where was I?

Oh yes . . . . . . .

Malcolm in the Middle is a series about an American boy whose family are, well  . . . . . . . . . . .   somewhat dysfunctional.
Whilst he's quite sane, everyone around him is  . . . . . . .  well let's say they need help!
His observations on life, especially the shallowness of the modern American "fast food" culture, are excellent.
I'd call it a "parable" rather than a series. But then that's from someone who'd put "Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy" up there along with Isaiah and streets ahead of Lamentations when it comes to spiritual lessons!

For everyone else!

I have to be careful calling on the analogy too strongly!  . . . . . . . .   but I do relate to "Malcolm" somewhat

Like Malcolm, sometimes I feel I'm the only sane one in a world gone mad.   So often I find myself "in the middle" in all sorts of ways.  It of course speaks of "standing in the gap" whether that's in prayer or for the kids we've fostered.
